The Fantasy Authority Fantasy Football Podcast Episode 31, March 1, 2016.
What an exciting couple of weeks it’s been, and it’s all lead up to this. Today we celebrate the re-launch and re-branding of thefantasyauthority.com by giving away loads of prizes to our loyal listeners, including DynastyLeagueFootball.com and 4for4.com subscriptions, a copy of the new TheShow 16 baseball game and entry to the coveted Scott Fishbowl 480 (#SFB480).
On top of all that, there was plenty of news to talk about, including the re-signing of Sam Bradford by the Philadelphia Eagles, Mario Williams getting cut by the Buffalo Bills and a little thing called the NFL Combine, where NFL stars of the future, like TCU WR Josh Doctson and Oklahoma WR Sterling Shepard, worked to increase their draft stock leading up to the 2016 NFL Draft.
Today was also the deadline for NFL teams to apply the franchise tag to their star players, big names like Alshon Jeffery of the Chicago Bears, Josh Norman of the Carolina Panthers and Von Miller, Superbowl MVP for the Denver Broncos, all received the tag today. What does it mean for them and their teams going forward, and was there anyone that was tagged and shouldn’t have been?
Plus, we talk in-depth about our top 15 second year RB’s, like Todd Gurley and David Johnson, and what type of impact they’ll have in fantasy next season. Who are your top second year RB’s going in to next season? Where do you plan on drafting them?
