Week 7 is here, which means we are back with another edition of Week 7 DFS value and where to find it! There are some obvious names this week. Look no further than Nick Chubb who is $3600 on DK. However, that is the easy call. This piece digs a little deeper to find value that will help separate you from the field.
QUARTERBACK – Joe Flacco
10th Priced Quarterback on Fanduel ($7,500 out of $60,000)
13th Priced Quarterback on Draftkings ($5,400 out of $50,000)
Joe Flacco has been a surprisingly good fantasy QB up to this point in the season. The pricing on both sites seems soft at the quarterback position this position, but Flacco still stands out as a nice option if you want to pay down. He draws a home matchup against what has been a suspect New Orleans pass defense so far this season. Flacco also has stacking appeal in tournaments with his new go-to receiver John Brown.
RUNNING BACK – LeSean McCoy
21st Priced Running Back on Fanduel ($6,200 out of $60,000)
11th Priced Running Back on Draftkings ($5,600 out of $50,000)
This play looks a lot more palatable on Fanduel, but I also don’t mind it on Draftkings as McCoy has full PPR upside. With Josh Allen on the shelf, Derek Anderson will be getting the start at QB for the Bills on Sunday. They will face a weak Colts defense in Indianapolis. McCoy had also been showing some signs of life before Allen went down too with back to back weeks of 70+ rushing yards. Maybe I am being optimistic, but this seems like an interesting spot to invest in McCoy.
WIDE RECEIVER – Taylor Gabriel
29th Priced Wide Receiver on Fanduel ($5,900 out of $60,000)
25th Priced Wide Receiver on Draftkings ($4,700 out of $50,000)
Taylor Gabriel is someone that stands out to me as an extreme value this week. The Bears find themselves in one of the higher totaled games of the week against the New England Patriots. Gabriel only managed to see 5 targets last week, but I am still optimistic about him in this spot. It is encouraging that Gabriel has seen 7+ targets in 3 of the 5 games he has played this season.
TIGHT END – David Njoku
10th Priced Tight End on Fanduel ($5,700 out of $60,000)
9th Priced Tight End on Draftkings ($4,200 out of $50,000)
It feels like David Njoku has had a frustrating season from a fantasy standpoint this season. If you dig a little deeper though, Njoku has seen only less than 7 targets one time this season. He also has back to back weeks of double-digit targets to boot. With a soft matchup against an abysmal Tampa Bay secondary, Njoku jumps off the page as a value at tight end this week.
DEFENSE – Philadelphia Eagles
5th Priced Defense on Fanduel ($4,200 out of $60,000)
8th Priced Defense on Draftkings ($2,600 out of $50,000)
No plays totally stand out from the defensive side of the ball this week, but I am intrigued by the Eagles. They are on 10 days rest and will return back home this Sunday to take on the Panthers. The Eagles defense has been significantly better at home as well. The matchup on paper may not seem great, but I am a little bit encouraged about the Panthers shaky performance against the Redskins last week.
