Tight End Streaming Options
Ben – Jimmy Graham (ESPN Rostered %: 10.3)
Jimmy Graham may not be as spry as he once was, but he could still sneak his way into your lineup if you’re in a pinch at TE. He finished Sunday’s game against the Lions with 3 receptions on 7 targets for 25 yards and a TD. That said, he came up huge and made plays when it mattered most. Trubisky clearly trusts him; all three of his receptions came in the fourth quarter when the Bears were clawing their way back from behind and he led the team in red-zone targets. This week they match up against a Giants team that should give Graham plenty of opportunity in the red zone.
Nate – Dallas Goedert (ESPN Rostered %: 27.2)
I said this in my Weekly Impressions article, but it’s worth repeating: Dallas Goedert is the Eagles “WR1”. He played more snaps than DeSean Jackson, Greg Ward, and Jalen Reagor, and he usually lined up either out-wide or in the slot. He was also the most targeted Eagle in Week 1 – in a game where the Eagles lost and were losing in the 4th quarter. This is no fluke. Goedert and Ertz might combine for a 50-55% target share on the Eagles, which is gold at the TE position. Until Jeffery recovers or Reagor takes a leap, Goedert is matchup proof.
Robby – Logan Thomas (ESPN Rostered %: 0.5)
For those who are dynasty fantasy football players, Logan Thomas was one of my dynasty buys for this off-season. He is an athletic freak as seen by his measurables from PlayerProfiler below. Thomas played 74% of the offensive snaps, had a team high 8 targets, oh, and he’s only rostered in 0.5% of leagues! He faces a team that was historically bad against the TE in 2019 and gave up six catches to San Francisco TE’s in Week 1. Thomas has Dwayne Haskins’ trust and is a nice sneaky tight end streamer for all leagues in Week 2.
