The #StreamTeam is back with a substitution for Week 5 as Cody joins Robby and Ben to hit you with our Week 5 Tight End Streamers. After you check out this article head over and see our full Week 5 Waiver Wire article!
Ben -Eric Ebron (ESPN Roster %: 27.4)
Eric Ebron has slowly hit his stride through the first three weeks of the season, each game seeing more targets than the last, with 7 in week 3 against Houston. Diontae Johnson should be back this game which may affect his target share, but Ebron is still a great red-zone target for Big Ben. Coming off a COVID-forced bye week and matching up against an Eagles defense that has let up five touchdowns to tight ends this season, I expect Eric Ebron to have a solid outing. Fire up Ebron and watch him hit paydirt on Sunday.
Robby – Greg Olsen (ESPN Roster %: 18.9)
Olson isn’t flashy next to names lik DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, he does have 13 targets over the past two weeks however. With Russell Wilson sitting at 16 passing TDs already this season, it isn’t hard to imagine that Olsen can find the end zone in any given week as he leads the team in red zone targets. The Vikings have also given up the 4th most passing yards in the league this season. Plenty of optimism for Olson in Week 5.
Cody – Dalton Schultz (ESPN Roster %: 46)
Once again, I’ll take the low-hanging fruit with no shame in my game. Not only is Schultz the top tight end streamer for this week, he’s a must add. Excluding Week 1, Schultz is the TE3 on the season. He’s third among tight ends in targets and receptions and second in receiving yards. With the Cowboys defense unable to stop, well…anything, Prescott is going to average 40 pass attempts each game just to have a chance of sniffing a win. His 47.8 PPR points during this time would rank him as WR17 – sandwiched between DeVante Parker and Calvin Ridley.
