Week 6 Tight End Streamers

Week 6 Tight End Streamers

The #TFAStreamTeam is back at the station whipping up Week 6 Tight End Streamers for your pleasure. Ben, Robby, and Nate are here to crush a tough Week 6 that is full of byes in a tight end landscape that is already looking a tad ugly. Be sure to check out Nate’s Week 5 Recap for a quick hit on the things you need to know from Thursday & Sundays’ games.

Ben – Trey Burton (ESPN Rostered %: 0.2)

Burton appears to have found a role in the Colts offense faster than I anticipated. He was targeted five times in his season debut Week 4 against the Bears and was targeted six times (second highest on the team) Week 5 against Cleveland. With wide receivers Michael Pittman & Parris Campbell out for the foreseeable future, I expect Burton to continue to separate himself as the second receiving option in Indianapolis. Burton has the same touchdown upside as the alternate TEs you’ll find on the waiver wire. However, he has a receiving floor to boot.

Robby – Eric Ebron (ESPN Rostered %: 37.5)

Ebron was second on the team in targets (6), receptions (5) and yards (43) in Week 5. Chase Claypool had quite the day with four total touchdowns, but it was Ebron that showed he is getting consistent looks with his second straight week of at least five catches for 40+ yards. The Browns are also in the Bottom-10 against the tight end position. This is not only a player who is getting targeted, but a player who is getting targeted in a plus matchup. It will be hard to find a better Week 6 tight end streamer.

Nate – Robert Tonyan (ESPN Rostered %: 48.6)

I may be chasing points here, but there really isn’t a better strategy when it comes to the TE position. Tonyan did most of his damage while Davante Adams was injured, but I think he has earned Aaron Rodgers trust. He’s still available in most leagues likely because the Packers had a bye last week. Most casual managers didn’t see him pop up on their “highest projected score” list. Hopefully, you didn’t fall into that category and already picked him up. I like Tonyan to get in the end zone again this week.
