Ben – Justin Herbert (ESPN Roster %: 45.4%)
Justin Herbert has looked like the real deal ever since getting his first (unexpected) start in week two against the Chiefs. He’s put up more than 23 fantasy points in 3/4 of his starts and comes into this week’s game off of a bye well-rested and (hopefully) well-prepared. The Jaguars have looked abysmal on both sides of the ball this year; They’ve allowed 27+ points in every game they have played and are allowing an average of 22 fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks through six weeks. With the Chargers & Jags both on the hunt for their second win, I expect this game to be scrappy and full of fantasy potential.
Nate – Carson Wentz (ESPN Roster %: 50.7%)
Carson Wentz is being forced to do it all for Philly. He’s a competitor, and you could really see that aggressive playing style in Week 6 when he put his shoulder down to gain 5 extra yards in a valiant comeback attempt against arguably the best team in the NFL. He’s found a nice connection with Travis Fulgham and might even get Desean Jackson back this week. Plus, Miles Sanders will almost certainly miss this week with the knee injury, meaning that the Eagles might have to rely on Wentz even more, which is crazy to say but still logical. Top it off with a matchup against a mediocre Giants defense, and you’ve got yourself a great streaming quarterback.
Cody – Teddy Bridgewater (ESPN Roster %: 34%)
Bridgewater had his worst game by far last week going up against Chicago, who were allowing the second-fewest fantasy points per game to quarterbacks heading into Week 6. Bridgewater has an easier road in Week 7 facing off against the Saints who have given up the fourth-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks, including the second-most touchdown passes. Teddy Two-Gloves has three games of 17+ fantasy points, including two of 20+ in two of his last three. You can fire him up and expect mid to high-end QB2 return.
